NDT...VISUAL INSPECTION TEST

Visual testing is the most commonly used test method in the NDT industry. Because most test methods require that the operator to look at the surface of the part being inspected, visual inspection is inherent in most of the other test methods.As the name implies,

VT involves the visual observation of the surface of a test object to evaluate the presence of surface discontinuities. All our NDT Inspectors are ASNT Level II Certified in VT, MPI, UT, PT & RT.

MAGNETIC PARTICLE INSPECTION (MPI)

Magnetic Particle Testing uses one or more magnetic fields to locate surface and near-surface discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials. The magnetic field can be applied with a permanent magnet or an electromagnet.

All our NDT Inspectors are ASNT Level II Certified in MPI.

EDDY CURRENT TESTING

Eddy current inspection is one of several NDT methods that uses the principle of electromagnetism as the basis for conducting examinations. At JEF TECH LIMITED we deploy this advanced and highly advantageous method of inspection to meet our client's needs. One of the major advantages of eddy current as an NDT tool is the variety of inspections and measurements that can be performed. In the proper circumstances, eddy currents can be used for: Crack detection; Material thickness measurements; Coating thickness measurements; Conductivity measurements for: Material identification; Heat damage detection; Case depth determination; Heat treatment monitoring.

VIDEO SCOPE INSPECTION

Video scope(Boroscope) is preferrred over optical tests.The reason is that the former allows the inspector large viewing areas, thus giving him the ability to access distant areas.

Using a video system also helps to avoid inspector eye fatigue.Further more, videoscope allow inspectors to capture inspection process as photos/video file, to have records.At JEF TECH LIMITED we have this equipment for inspection.
